Content import to Canvas Importing content to Instructure Canvas is simple. Follow the steps below. How to import content

To import content you must create a course or use an existing course. To create a course, click on Start a New Course on the right column.

Go to Settings on the left column.

Click Import Content into this Course on the right column:

Steps:

1. Content Type: Select Common Cartridge 1.x Package 2. Source: Choose the package (.imscc) provided by Santillana USA 3. Content: Select All content

4. Click on Import button.

Once the content is uploaded, the conversion process will be queued and start running automatically.

Once the content is imported, select Modules on the left column. Below is the look & feel of your imported content.

Existing course content will remain intact. New imported modules and activities will be added to your course, based on unit and module structure. How to setup the external tool provider

Steps:

1. Settings: Select Settings on the left column 2. Apps: Select View App Configurations 3. Edit: Select Edit on the external tool created by default.

4. Consumer key: Enter the key number provided by Santillana USA 5. Shared Secret: Enter the token number provided by Santillana USA 6. Domain: cloud.santillanawicco.com 7. Click on Submit button.
