Inter-Alpha Founded in 1971, Inter-Alpha is an association of 12 prominent European banks. All the member banks have a common commitment to providing their customers with comprehensive financial services throughout Europe, and Inter-Alpha plays an important role in helping them to achieve this objective. Who are the members? Activities The Inter-Alpha members are particularly interested in co-operating to achieve technological development and cost-savings, and attention is focused on specific areas through specialist 'Ad Hoc' Committees. Education is also a priority, as reflected in the establishment of the Inter-Alpha Banking School and the Inter-Alpha/INSEAD Banking Management Programme.
