Interface Management - main goal• To ensure that critical design, construction, and operation

information is made available in a timely fashion to all interested parties

Objective of this meeting:• Align expectations;• To show the Lakach Project Interface Management Process;

and• Discuss contractor’s participation on interface efforts

The PEMEX´s Interface Management System (IMS)

Contractor’s participation oninterface efforts

Contractors participation during interface mangement process

– Contractors shall prepare and submit to the PEMEX a detailed interface management plan for management of its INTERNAL interfaces (between contractor and its vendors and sub-contractors);

– Contractors is responsible for management of its INTERNAL interfaces. The process can be audited by Pemex at any time;

– Contractors shall prepare and submit to the PEMEX a detailed interface matrix with all EXTERNAL interfaces (between the contractor, PEMEX and other PEMEX’s vendors) and responsibilities;

– The EXTERNAL interfaces of the project will be coordinated by PEMEX using the Interface Management System (IMS);

– Contractor shall participate on the efforts to solve issues of external interfaces in order to avoid delays and unnecessary changes on the project; and

– Contractor shall appoint an interface coordinator to be the focal point regarding EXTERNAL interfaces. The interface focal point shall be available to participate on the effort to solve the EXTERNAL interfaces issues.
