STARTING POINT
• The idea started 1999.
• Agreements with Banking Entities.
• Disadvantages:
• Incompatibility of some applications.
• Coordination among all the companies involved.
• Similar experiences developed in other cities.
• Gijon became part of an European-level working group called “Smart Cities”.

• Form and Photo.
• The Card is free.
•The Card does not expire.
•The card is ready immediately for user.
• Children and citizens not registered on the municipal census.
• A company can apply for it.
