(Thaheem)Thaheem tribe is descendant of powerful and influential Arab tribe, BANU TAMIM.They migrated to Sub-Continent mainly to present day PAKISTAN along with Muhammad Bin Qasim. They are settled in Pakistan and have their presence in all the Four Provinces of Pakistan. Majority speaks Siraiki language.Thaheems are mostly involved with Agriculture but number of them have important Government and Political positions. There are many doctors, engineers and successful businessmen as well.

LATE Justice (retd) Abdul Razak Thaheem, was one of the most prominent personality. He served as Member of the upper house of Parliament and also the Federal Cabinet. He passed away in 2010Another Thaheem Mr Abdul Salam is serving as Provincial Minister in Sindh.Other important politicians in Punjab were Late Nawab Ahmed Bux Thaheem and Jamshed Abbass Thaheem (MPAs Punjab Assembly).Thaheem family also has a foundation NTF (National Thahem Foundation) made by Sardar Abdul Gaffar Thaheem Village Sheranpur , District Jacobabad,Sindh, Pakistan, serves as Headquarter.
