Ladies and gentlemen,

since 1997 International Education Society /IES/ has been running an international project called CERTIFICATE. Within this project, we certify educational subjects, the graduates of which are issued the international IES certificates. Thanks to them the graduates have the possibility of finding good employment in all countries all over the world. They are the IES certificates for students, which are significant added value of the CERTIFICATE project. Thanks to the certificates it differs from other certification projects and is unique in a global standard. The international IES certification is therefore important for all subjects interested in their students finding employment at the home and international labour market. Certification is important for your own self-evaluation and also for higher prestige, distinction from your competition and improvement of the school status in the eye of the public.

The result of the educational subject certification is assigning the rating, value of which is regularly verified. This way, the certified subjects get a feedback about their quality. This can help them with their development. The school‘s rating is an important piece of information included on the graduate‘s IES certificate. Thanks to this, an employer gets information not only about candidate‘s education, but also about the quality of the school, where the candidate graduated. There are currently 12 countries included in the CERTIFICATE project. They are Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. When the project CERTIFICATE started, the main aim was to make finding employment for the graduates from the Middle and Eastern Europe schools at the highly developed markets easier. Nowadays, the IES certificate proves to be very useful and effective to the employers in the country of the candidate‘s origin also.

The significant companies with global activity, Ministries of Education, Chambers of Commerce and the employers within the region of the certified schools are all informed about our certification. IES is registered in England. Certification is realized by the IES organizational sector (a client centre), which is located in Brno, Czech Republic.

Certification of an educational institution

When the certification is finished, it is possible to issue the international certificates to the graduates.

– THIS IS REALIZED ON THE BASIS OF AN ON-LINE qUESTIONNAIRE and its evaluation, other documents and a potential audit at the place of an institution.

- THE ON-LINE qUESTIONNAIRE DIFFERS ACCORDINg TO THE TyPE OF AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. The questions are divided between 8 and 15 blocks. Some data, which is collected, come from the very origin of an institution up to now. The majority of required information is taken from previous records as far back as five years and can included:– Statistical data - number of

students, graduates, teachers...– Educational programmes,

cooperation with specialists, consultants...

– Success of students in competitions, professional success of graduates...

– Scientific and research activity (universities, colleges)...

– International programmes, international and domestic cooperation...

– Material and technical equipment, funds, investments...

– Pedagogical teams, expertise, further education, publication activity...

– PR activities, communication with the public, web...

– CERTIFIED SUBjECT PREPARES THE DOCUMENTS NOT ONLy FOR CERTIFICATION OF THE INSTITUTION, but also for the chosen educational programmes – curriculum, hour subsidy, pedagogical team. We certify the programmes with the minimum of five lessons taught. It is possible to certify programmes anytime during our cooperation. Their certification is free regardless of the number.

– THE WHOLE PROCESS TAKES APPROxIMATELy THREE MONTHS. Two month out of the three month are needed for preparation of the documents. We finish the IES certification within one month of obtaining the complete documents from an institution (on-line questionnaire including the required appendices).

– THE RATINg IS BASED UPON A SCALE OF 1 TO 12 POINTS AND THE ASSIgNED RATINg IS ExPLAINED IN A DETAILED REPORT WRITTEN By AN ExPERT COMMITTEE. The report also includes recommendations on how to increase the rating. Value of the rating is regularly verified. Recertification is free and is done on the basis of an on-line update questionnaire, that only needs to include the changes, which occurred during a monitored period.

– EACH CERTIFICATE INCLUDES A SPECIAL APPENDIx – a graduate‘s profile with characteristics of graduate‘s studies with the summary of key knowledge and skill competences of the certificate holder both in English and in the official language.

– THE IES CERTIFICATE AND THE DOCUMENT ISSUED By A SCHOOL (diploma, school report, certificate) make a collection of information for a potential employer and a holder of the certificate gets a competitive advantage at the labour market.

– TO AVOID COUNTERFEIT, THE IES CERTIFICATE HAS SECURITy FEATURES and it is easy for a potential employer to verify the identity of the certificate on the Internet.
