ER

The master of International cooperation in urban planning (ICUP) prepares students

to new professional opportunities in the context of globalization and the consequent

urban, economic and social evolution of cities.

It offers a solid culture about cities and a deep knowledge of technical tools needed

to manage complex urban projects. It prepares students to become urban planners

capable to adapt to different context and issues like the accessibility, urban poverty,

marginality, post-crisis intervention.

SKILLS

– Knowledge and analysis of local contexts (observation, évaluation, collection of

qualitative and quantitative datas)

– Strategic planning (urban and regional policies, territorial management)

– Urban planning (urban design, stake holders participation, economic management).


According to the Bologna agreement harmonizing university studies in Europe, the curriculum is structured into modules, which may be broken down further into courses. All modules are defined by their contents, learning outcomes and number of credit points that can be earned in the course according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The year requires 60 credit points, divided equally into 30 per semester.

Grades are transferred onto the common European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System on the basis of the following conversion system/chart.
