UBM Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has made a number of achievements towards regional peace, stability, and prosperity. In 2019, Thailand is the ASEAN Chair under the theme of “the Advancing Partnership for Sustainability” which includes initiatives around digital technology, connectivity, and the green economy. Thailand under the Ministry of Industry, green transportation particularly the use and the development of EV ecosystem, has been included as one of the key strategies to meet ASEAN’s sustainability goal. Only with supports from ASEAN’s members and expert countries on the usage and development of the next generation vehicles, sustainable economic growth in the region will be feasible. With the aim to help coordinate and promote green transportation in the region, Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT) in partnership with UBM Asia has the pleasure to give a warm welcome to all speakers and delegates from ASEAN and its partners around the world to the Fourth International Electric Vehicle Technology Conference & Exhibition (iEVTech 2019) and ASEAN EV Summit 2019. The event this year will be held on 5-8 June, 2019 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will be focused on the following topics
Policy and Trends Energy Supply & Storage Systems Traction Motor & Drive Systems and Components Charging Infrastructure
The organizer hopes that iEVTech 2019 and ASEAN EV Summit 2019 will become an international platform for researchers, designers, developers, policy maker and EV potential users to gather knowledge from leading experts around the world and share ideas and from one another. We hope that such information exchange will contribute to the development of electrified transport technology toward the smart and sustainable transport in ASEAN and the world.
