Collaborative research on composite materials-Project Objectives-
• For international railways to share their experience and learning of the application of composite materials in their railway, including the sharing of design codes and application guides.
• The deliverable will be a synthesized general best practice guide which may then lead into the development of UIC fiches in this area or the identification of areas needing further research.

Collaborative research on composite materials- How to progress this project -
The difficulty to cooperate all over the world is a distance.UIC Extranet is a powerful tool to share informatio n.
