Collecting data from the Rectorate and member units of the University of Sarajevo.
Timetable: Calendar year 2019 (1 January – 31 December 2019).
Duration of data collecting: end of 2019 and begining of 2020 (deadline provided by Department for education and student affairs).
Two versions are prepared: Main UNSA report (22 pages) – deadline: 10 March 2020
International Relations Report (60 pages) – deadline: end of March 2019 – prolonged due to COVID19
Report is bilingual: B/C/S and English (this booklet is English version of the Report with main data and numbers).

CONTENT
Creating and adopting Strategy for Development of International Relations of UNSA for the period 2018(19) – 2022(23) we have defined INDICATORS – a system to monitor and grade implementation of the Strategy, internatinalisation and action plans.
Indicators help to define this Report for 2019 and compare with previous from 2018 in next categories: Internationalisation of UNSA

INTERNATIONALISATION OF UNSA
The UNSA Development Strategy was created during 2018 and adopted in the begining of the 2019 and provides quicker and easier monitoring of the internationalisation process at UNSA, as well as including information about resources, local and global challenges.
Main contributors to the internationalisation process:

Vice-deans for International Relations at the UNSA‘s units
Coordinators and administrative staff at UNSA‘s unit included in international processes

AGREEMENTS AND MEMBERSHIPS
In 2019, UNSA had 146 active bilateral agreements / memorandum on cooperation / protocols with higher education institutions from all over the world.
New 20 agreements were signed during 2019.
In 2019 UNSA and its units were active member of 28 international organisations and networks.
PROJECTS
UNSA continued active trend of participation in international programs and projects.
In 2019 UNSA participated in 574 projects: 271 international (financed through EU/internatonal funds/tenders)
303 domestic (financed by state funds or own finances).
In this report we follow participation of UNSA within Erasmus+.
During the 2019 call (publish in the end of 2018) UNSA applied with 149 project proposals for Erasmus+ (KA107, CBHE, JM and SP) as well as for other EU funded calls.
During 2019 UNSA implemented: 157 Inter-institutional agreements within KA107 – more under mobility
17 already approved Erasmus+ CBHE projects.
In Summer of 2019 we were approved with new 6 projects within Erasmus+ CBHE where start of implementation was in the end of 2019 or begining of 2020;
UNSA applied for 4 Jean Monnet projects and got approved two (2).

3RD INTERNATIONAL STAFF TRAINING WEEK
Staff week is organized following good practice of European universities
Target group are persons included in implementation of international relations at HEIs
Attended by representatives from 23 partner European universities + representatives of UNSA
Presentations and promotion of UNSA, credit mobility, STINT project, networking
Staff week is combined with Scholarship fair so participants of Staff week were able to participate in the 10th Scholarship fair
EXHIBITION+
This was an exhibition of photographs taken by students and staff members from Bosnia and Herzegovina who participated in the Erasmus+ exchange. Visitors could get insight into personal and overall mobility experience through photographs with brief explanations.
Behind the idea of the Exhibition+ was Adnan Rahimić, UNSA Senior International Relations Officer who transformed the idea of creative dissemination of Erasmus+ mobilities into a project and applied for a grant to the regional organization Western Balkan Alumni Association -WBAA (to which he also is a full-time member).
At an annual meeting of the Audiovisual, Educational and Cultural Support Agency (EACEA) held in Bruxelles on 14 November 2019 for Erasmus+ National Agencies the project Exhibition+ was presented and awarded.
THE 10TH SCHOLARSHIP FAIR
UNSA Brand
The unique BiH‘s fair that gathers BH and foreign institutions that offer financial or other type of support for studying in BiH or abroad.
