General Info• Upon your arrival to Esenboga Airport, Ankara, you

will be met by a MESA Hospital representative at the airport

• You will be escorted to your hotel for check-in

Transportation• All your official transportation requirements (being picked up from / dropped off at the airport, appts, etc.) will be handled by the MESA Hospital representative.

Hotel Information• You will be staying at the ………. Hotel which is a 5-star hotel within walking distance of your OB/GYN. It’s also in walking distance to all kinds of dining/shopping venues. • Based on the availability you will be placed in either an apart or a suit room.

• Apartment rooms are just like studio-type rooms with a small kitchen.

• Suites are larger than standard rooms, however, they do not have a microwave or a kitchen area.

Hotel Information• If you are traveling with small children, cribs are available at the hotel, but please make sure you request it during check-in. Unfortunately, there is NO child-care service available at the hotels.

• All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom, direct dial telephone access, satellite/cable TV, minibar, hair dryer, and key-card lock system

• The room costs $........... for you and additional $.... for an extra person which is still under your max lodging allowance. Breakfast and FREE wireless Internet service is included in the room price.

OB/GYN Appointments• During your stay in Ankara, ………………, MD will be your primary care manager.

• She has been a part of our network for two years and has been the primary OB/GYN doctor for all of our storknesters and many of our American military/dependent OB/GYN patients. 

• …………………., MD is a contacting doctor, who is performing many procedures and operations for storknesters in MESA Hospital

• Stop by the International Patient Services– Get your protocol number after giving your ID

Welcome to MESA HASTANESİ

• At the Admission’s desk you will be asked to sign 3 types of consent forms:

– General Consent form– Anesthesia Consent form– External Doctor Consent form

Labor and Delivery Room in MESA HASTANESİ

• The bed is adjustable for the labor and delivery

• Both the mother and the baby are monitored

• The baby is welcome at the resuscitation module

PREPARATION FOR LABOR & DELIVERY Don’t forget to bring

the following items for yourself and the baby

FOR THE BABY• Diapers• Bodysuits (3 sets washed and ironed)• Seamless Baby hat • Babywear • Jacket (100% organic cotton)• Baby socks, newborn mitts (to be used in the first 24 hours)• Blanket (Polar)

FOR THE MOTHER• Night gown (open at the front side)• Bra for lactation• High waist underwear• Sanitary napkins• Breast pads• Personal cleaning products• It is advised to remove your nail polish and leave your valuables at home

After Delivery

• Together with your baby, you will be taken into a private room, which has a minibar, a mini case, a cupboard, and a couch for the companion

Upon Discharge

You need to ask for:
