Vision: International youth community service cooperation.

Mission: • Give children all over the world a chance / opportunity to learn from and work withchildren from other similar background but different culture. • To foster a sense of social service, self-awareness, world view, and helping them in understanding and respecting different culture, but at the same time, nurturing their ideas about materialism

Objectives: • Encouraging inter-cultural experiences among youths.

• Developing youth’s community service skills, and international experiences through global and local projects. • To provide scholarships to youth from different countries (such as: Australia, Thailand, Taiwan) to experience cultural differences and participate in positive cultural identity development projects.

Project management: • Develop internal networks between our groups’ countries.

• Volunteering in local social service centers for hands on training in how to work with youth.

• Research and connect with our local youth centers, and gaining support and trust from our local communities. Getting their commitment on wanting to work with us on the project.

Project management (cont): • Searching for scholarships and funding which m

ight be mainly from local communities, companies, and government.

• Recruiting young people that are interested in the project.

• Get involved. Interveiw volunteers on what they would like to do, where their interestes lies.

Project management (cont): • Organizing trips, accommodation and

workshops for our project.

• Develop links with community services among countries.

Evaluation criteria: • Make before, during, and after films to monitor how youth run the project (their expectations before and what the result).

• Set a website.

• Send out surveys evaluating the youth work in the community.

• In depths before and after interview about the project.

Fundraising:• Through local NGOs, business, airline companies, government grants, local universities.

• Fundraising through selling raffle tickets .

Promotion:• Through media such as radio stations (local community and universities radio stations), websites, local and community newspapers, and charity TV channels.

• Posters, flyers around areas that youth usually hang out and through word of mouth on the streets.

• If possible asking a high profile person to put in a good word for the program.

Viability: Establishing strong networks locally and globally so even if the project does not go through, there is still a network that connects several communities together and they can start another project using the exsist database.
