The Chiefs offer four different internships throughout the organization: Group Sales & Ticketing – 1 position available Community Relations – 1 position available Operations – 1 position available Graphic Design – 1 position available Syracuse Chiefs interns must receive credit for their internship through a legitimate college or university. Interns will each receive up to a $500 per month stipend to go towards the payment of the credits received during the course of the internship. Interns will be paid an hourly rate ($8.25/hour) to work Chiefs home games. All other expenses arising from the acceptance of an internship with the Chiefs are the sole responsibility of the intern. The Chiefs are committed to providing each intern with an environment that fosters training for their own educational benefit. Throughout the course of the internship, there will be nine mandatory educational training sessions. Each training session will focus on a different aspect of the Chiefs organization to provide a wellrounded experience for each intern, regardless of their department. Daily responsibilities of each intern will vary depending on departmental needs. Gametime intern responsibilities will depend upon staffing needs. Interns will be expected work Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and select nights and weekends for the duration of the internship. Interns should plan to be available for all home Chiefs games, including nights and weekends. Interns will be individually scheduled to work home games. If an intern should need time off during the course of the internship, proper notice is required. Students interested in pursuing an internship with the Chiefs should complete the following internship application and return it along with a cover letter and uptodate resume.
