The short story, “Barrio Boy” by Ernesto Galarza is about a kid that came from Mexico and he didn’t know English. His name is Ernesto Galarza. He went to school and he was in first grade. His teacher helped him to talk, speak, and write in English. When he grew up, he wrote the the story called “Barrio Boy.”
