• You use your body’s heat and chemical energy when you work to clean your room, run to catch a ball, and even when you think about your homework!

• Plants use the sun’s light energy to grow and produce oxygen; both growing and producing are forms of work to a plant.

• A radio uses electrical energy to produce sound. • A mill uses mechanical energy to grind grain.
