WHAT IS SOCIAL STUDIES?Social Studies is the study of the social sciences.

Civics- the study of the rights and duties of citizenship.

GENIUS or CRIMINAL??

Italian astronomer, physicist, engineer, philosopher, and mathematician who played a major role in the scientific revolution during the Renaissance. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest scientists of all time.

Galileo was ordered to turn himself in to the Holy Office to begin trial for holding the belief that the Earth revolves around the Sun, which was deemed heretical by the Catholic Church.

-The belief was that the Earth was at the center of the universe
