4. STABILITY: Duration capsules(65%) are much more stable thanthe more commonly used sodiumhypochlorite (5.25%). In dry storageit loses 5% of its strength in 18months while sodium hypochlorite(bleach) can lose up to 50% strengthin 60 days!

5. NON-CORROSIVE: SagewashTM

Sanitizer's unique ability to dispensecalcium hypochlorite (a solid into aliquid) insures controlled pH. Most ofthe corrosion associated withhypochlorites occurs from the use ofsodium hypochlorite (householdbleach) and its excessive alkalinity.Control of pH also means a highpercentage of the most active chlorinedisinfectant, hypochlorous acid.

6. NO HARMFUL CHEMICALRESIDUES: The active disinfectantprovided by SagewashTM Sanitizerand Duration tablets disinfects,

deodorizes, and performs itsfunctions before it ceases to containoxidizing properties. It is thenreduced to a chloride and loses all itsdisinfectant qualities. Chlorides areinert and naturally occurring andenvironmentally friendly.

7. ODOR CONTROL: WithSagewashTM Sanitizer there are noobnoxious, unpleasant odors. Mostodors are ammonia/ nitrogenbased. Duration tablets, with their65% available chlorine, provideenough chlorine to "burn through"ammonia. The low-yield (5.25%)chlorine provided by householdbleach is insufficient to "burnthrough." Instead, the low-yieldchlorine forms a bond with thenitrogen and creates chloramines.Chloramines produce theobnoxious, pungent odor manypeople associate with "chlorinedisinfection."
