From those first sketches, MG Motor UK’s family-friendly SUV, the MG GS, was born.

Launched at The London Motor Show in May 2016, the model surpassed 500 unit sales

in just 176 days. Reaching the milestone faster than any of the manufacturer’s other vehicles,

even its stylish supermini, the MG3; success of the MG GS demonstrates market demand for

a fun, family-friendly SUV – available at a sensible price.

Marking the future of MG and a new generation of design and engineering excellence, the

MG GS is inspired by the diversity of a modern family. It is an SUV that stands up to the

challenges of every aspect of your weekly routine – whether a weekend family adventure,

daily commute to work or trip to the shops. Family fun and affordability don’t often go hand-

in-hand, but with the MG GS that’s exactly what you get.

Design from the inside

Everything about the MG GS has been developed to make it handle like an MG should.

The chassis and sporting damper control have been tuned to deliver agility and confidence

for the driver. Particular attention has been paid to the steering, ensuring a responsive

and engaging drive.

With sports seats in the front and adjustable seats in the back that recline and fold

completely flat, the MG GS delivers functionality and comfort. Style certainly hasn’t been

forgotten; with the top-of-the-range Exclusive model available with the option of either

cream or black leather.

Introducing the MG GS range

With three trim levels offering customers plenty of specification at great prices, the MG

GS aims to be very competitive in its class. With bags of space, a 1.5 turbo petrol engine,

the option of manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and tons of spec, the SUV

certainly stands out.

Automatic headlights, air-con, an intelligent stop-start engine and cruise control come as

standard on the entry-level MG GS Explore model, which will let you discover some of the

finer things in life without forking out or compromising.

There’s absolutely nothing middle of the road about the mid-range model, the MG GS

Excite. Excite your driving senses with the mid-level trim option and get rear parking

sensors and camera, along with DAB radio and Bluetooth.

If you want to be part of the Exclusive club, go for the top-spec MG GS Exclusive model

for 18” alloy wheels, sat nav, electric seats and Xenon headlamps. It’s not just the looks

that will make you the awe of your friends, the specification puts the model at the top of

its game, meaning you can sit back, relax and enjoy stress-free driving.

The range starts from £15,095 - a massive £4,000 cheaper than an entry level Qashqai

– while the top of the range MG GS Exclusive is available from just £19,595.

Available in a range of six striking colours, with spec and tech to match, its roomy interior

is great for families who need a vehicle with acres of luggage space.
