‘KANNADA GRAMMAR IN COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION’

MINUTES & RESOLUTIONS OF THE MEETING

Considering the need of Kannada Grammar in Competitive Examinations, it was decided to

introduce a certificate course on ‘Kannada Grammar in Competitive Examinations’ at the college

level. In the meeting of the college, held on 25th July 2018, along with the various other academic

issues, the participants discussed and unanimously agreed to introduce the a certificate course on

‘Kannada Grammar in Competitive Examinations’ at the college level. Further it was decided to

constitute a ‘Board of Studies’ (BoS) at the college level with the following faculty:

1) Dr. Rathod Motilal, Principal - Chairman 2) Dr. A. N Mirji - Member

3) Prof. Ganga Naik. L - Member

4) Smt. Divyashree B.N - Subject Expert.

MINUTES OF BOARD OF STUDIES (BoS) MEETING

Based on the feedback of the students and the outcomes of the staff meeting, a meeting of the

Board of Studies was held on 26 July, 2018 under the leadership of the principal. In the meeting the

following decisions were taken regarding the content of syllabus, duration of the course, etc. And

further a ‘Notice’, regarding the ‘Certificate Course on Spoken English’, to the students was issued.

The commencement of the Certificate Course in “Kannada Grammar in Competitive

Examination” is from 01 August, 2018.

The course curriculum is to be drafted accordingly.

The target audience of the course will be B.A Final Year students.

DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMME

Course Name - Certificate Course in Kannada Grammar in Competitive Examination

Academic Year - 2018-19 Duration - 30 hours (Two hours per day)

Commencement from - 01-08-2018 to 18-08-2018

Schedule/ Time Table - 8-30 am to 9-30 am & 5-00 pm to 6-00 pm. Target Audience - BA and B.Com Final Year Students

Evaluation System At the end of the course a test (oral) will be conducted for 25 marks (Objective) and the

passed students will be awarded the certificate.

To make Students face competitive examinations confidently.

To enrich Kannada Grammar among students.

Learning Outcomes

Students will face competitive examinations confidently.

Students will enrich their grammar.

Students will enhance their capacity to speak grammatically in Kannada.

‘Certificate Course on Spoken English’ at the college level. In the meeting of the college, held on 6th

Jan 2018, along with the various other academic issues, the participants discussed and unanimously

agreed to introduce the ‘Certificate Course on Spoken English’ at the college level. Further it was

decided to constitute a ‘Board of Studies’ (BoS) at the college level with the following faculty:

The duration of the course is 30 Hours.


The target audience of the course will be the B.A and B.Com. students.

The commencement of the certificate course will be from 16th January 2018.
