What is heidi?
• Web-based management information tool
• Ability to create reports and charts from a broad range of data about HE
• Subscription service, available to HEI's and approved stakeholders
• heidi is run by HESA as a self-funding, not-for-profit service
Background to heidi
• Developed in partnership with The University of Leeds, with funding from LGM fund and funding councils
• Aimed to reduce burden on HEI’s by providing access to a wide variety of HE data in one place
• System went live during April 2007
• 88% of HEI's currently subscribe
