Research Questions

What does a data-collection system look like?

Does it collect and report as intended?

Does using a data-reporting system affect client outcome in favour of improved health?

How likely is uptake and acceptance of the system by dietitians? How does having the

data reported back affect user uptake?

Dietitians, it takes 15-minutes to help shape the future of our service.  Are. You. In?

Monash University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics has developed a 15-minute online anonymous survey to capture what dietitians do, how we do it, and what we need to be able to do this well.  This survey is part of the Measuring Dietetic Practice (MDP) Study.

You are eligible to complete this survey if you are a dietitian, AND:

1.     Use any non-surgical approach to weight loss for any clients

2.     Measure weight (kg)

3.     Work anywhere across Australia (eg rural, remote, metro)

4.     In any workplace setting (eg community centre, gym, hospital, GP clinic)

5.     In any healthcare setting (eg public, private, not-for-profit)

If you provide a service across more than one physical location, please select only one of these locations as your representative location, and answer the survey for only this location.

Here is the link to the survey.  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MDPStudyQ1

This link will take you to a secure survey website called SurveyMonkey which our department contracts to use their survey software.

By completing this survey, you are joining colleagues in adding to an evidence-base to support dietetic practice into the future.  Yes, completing the survey means you could win one of four $50 David Jones vouchers too!
