• Furniture & Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 - (1993)

The fire and safety regulation regarding furniture, gas, electrical and similar services are ultimately the responsibility of theinstructing principal. Where the inventory notes "Fire Regulation Label Attached", this should not be interpreted to mean theitem complies with the "Furniture and Furnishings (fire) (safety) (amendments) 1993". It is a record that the item had a labelas described or similar to that detailed in the "guide" published by the Department of Trade and Industry January 1997 (orsubsequent date) It is not a statement that the item can be considered compliant with the Regulations.

• Using the inventory

The inventory will be recorded in accordance with the fair wear & tear guide and the description detailed below :

New - possibly still in packaging or wrapper, or with new tags and/or labels attached.Good - in used condition, signs of slight wear, generally lightly worn rather than marked and scuffed.Fair - signs of age, small light stains, marks and discolouration and/or residue.Poor - extensive signs of wear and tear including marks, stains, and tears. Damaged not functional unless stated otherwise.

Utilities Management:Tenant Shop Limited acts on our (Temples Lettings) behalf to notify the local council, water supplier and energy providers inline with your tenancy start date and supply information and readings to the local council, water supplier and energyproviders from the date you vacate your property.Tenant Shop Limited will only use your information for the purpose of council and utility registration, closing of council andutility accounts and energy and/or media comparison upon your arrival. Call centre comparisons are optional for the tenantand can opt out at any time.
