Dearest friend of our Earth!

Once again it is time for me to invite you to another International “New ScientificOutlook” World Congress from The World Foundation for Natural Science. And so, friendsof nature from all over the world, who are ready to stand up for our Mother Earth and turnHer into a more liveable place, will meet in Ulm again this year. This requires courage,enthusiasm, inspiration and often patience, too. For over thirty years now, we have beencommitted to a life without harmful microwave technology, and now, at last, people arestarting to wake up and take our message seriously. The planned introduction of 5G isapparently the last straw. “Enough is enough!” That is the tenor we hear everywhere. Peoplerecognize the greed that stops at nothing in pursuit of more and more mammon, and nowbegin to defend themselves against 5G and its effects. We have a lot to say about 5G at thisyear's congress.

The issue of climate change is similar. There is growing evidence that what appears tobe a brave rebellion by an young woman worried about the future of our world is, in fact, awell-planned PR campaign driven by concrete interests. This sixteen-year-old girl uses everyplatform available to hammer home that we should panic. But it is the very fear that separatesus from real life and does not produce any solutions at all, because where there is fear, thereis no love. What we love, we do not destroy. It is love that motivates us to protect, change,improve something, not in panic, but in peace, and by doing our best to serve life.

“We live in a dangerous age. Man has dominated nature before he has even learned to control

himself”, wrote Albert Schweitzer. How true! In fact, the solutions are ready at hand, andnature shows them to us. That is where we find a bond, a power that includes all life. Sinceall life is interconnected, communication with each other is elementary. If thiscommunication no longer takes place, we become lonely and die. This applies to all life downto the smallest living beings like cells, bacteria and viruses. This is the reason why I amwriting to you today. We must come together to talk. We want to get to know you better andlearn from your experiences. We can only grow and improve individually and as acommunity by sharing. An individual can never do enough, nor can an individual do

everything. But by connecting like-minded people in spirit, mind and action—we who live onthe planet at the same time for the same purpose, which is to learn to live a life inharmony—together we can change what can be changed.

If you read our congress programme carefully, you will realise that we have once againsucceeded in getting competent speakers enthusiastic about our cause, who in turn are eagerto share their knowledge with you. It is particularly important to us that you take home asmany practical solutions as possible and implement them immediately. We are particularlyconcerned about the topic of plastics, and we can no longer wait and think that it has nothingto do with us, even if we may not live by the sea. It affects us all. Plastic can now be foundeverywhere, in the rain, in the ice caps, in the human body. It is time to act.

Smoking should also disappear from our planet because it causes many deaths everyday and is being reinvented with e-cigarettes, and especially the youth are affected severely.We are committed to a smoke-free world and are proud that the Maritim Hotel will besmoke-free during the entire congress and will even remain permanently smoke-free fromnext year onwards, as soon as the renovation work on the rooms, some of which is still takingplace, has been completed. This is also one of our achievements, for which we have foughtlong and hard. At each of our events we strictly adhere to the POLICY OF NON-SMOKING.Smoking of any kind, whether of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cannabis, or other drugs, isabhorrent and destroys lives; and we, The World Foundation for Natural Science and itsmembers, do what we possibly can to heal and restore life.

John F. Kennedy said: “Those who act while others are still talking are a great step ahead inlife.” It is up to us to inform ourselves and then to put the knowledge we have acquired intoaction and to share it with our fellow human beings. The future depends on what we do

When you register, you have the opportunity to book your room at the Maritim Hotelin Ulm. As always, the hotel has a certain contingent of rooms available for us at a special“congress price”. We therefore recommend that you book your room through us, as this isthe only way you can benefit from the special conditions. If you think that you could notcome because of your parental obligations, we can reassure you because we offer a specialchildren's programme, for which your help is required. Please let us know in advance if youare bringing your child(ren) and how old they are. We will inform you in good time about

the exact details of the children's programme in a separate letter. We as true Franciscans ofcourse welcome your dog at any time (and so does the hotel!), provided it is house-trainedand well-behaved (there is no additional registration fee). Our life would not be the sameparticularly without dogs as you will find out!

Once again we offer simultaneous translation for attendees speaking German, English,Russian, Spanish and Czech. Whatever language you may speak, it will not be a reason toprevent you from being with us and participating in our World Congress.

It is also a great pleasure for me to draw your attention to a special innovation. Wewill now have two reserved rooms at the Maritim Hotel for the meal breaks, a larger onewith room for about 250 people and a smaller one that is mainly intended for our youthfulcongress participants. During the congress a buffet will be served there both at lunchtimeand in the evening. For a sensational price of only € 100, you can eat comfortably during thewhole congress (3x dinner and 3x lunch), and with every meal a bottle of mineral water isincluded in the price! For those staying at the Maritim Hotel, the rich breakfast buffet (inthe restaurant Ulmer Gulden) is still included in the room price. It is planned that duringdinner there will be so-called theme-related expert tables, where there will be a uniqueopportunity to exchange ideas with the various experts and to ask questions. Meanwhile theyouth will create their own programme with games and dance. Adults who feel youngenough to dance the night away may of course join the youth later to take part in theiractivities and end the evening with a pleasant get-together!

I am convinced that you will enjoy these new opportunities to be together as neverbefore, as brothers and sisters on Earth and in service to Her.
