• Participation only of the International German Diving Championships

All participants will travel individually to the venue in Rostock and have to bear the transportation costs!

• Participation at the International German Diving Championships AND 24th FINA Diving Grand Prix

All participants will travel individually to Berlin or Rostock/ Laage, Germany. The organizing committee will provide transportation from Berlin Airport to Rostock and will bear all costs (one group per country). In case the arrival and departure times of team members will vary and additional transportation is needed, the respective team will bear the extra cost.

Please advise that judges should travel with their team, otherwise additional costs will occur on arrival and departure.

5. Rules and Regulations

The competitions will be conducted according to the rules and regulations of the German Swimming Federation as well as to the FINA rules.

6. Doping

Doping tests can be carried out. The Anti-Doping-Rules of the German Swimming Federation and the Anti-Doping-FINA-Rules apply.

7. First Aid and Lifeguards

A safety rehearsal will take place near the swimming pool on Wednesday, 2018-02-14 by expert lifeguards. An emergency doctor will be available above the technical podium during all competitions. Lifeguards will be available during training sessions and competitions next to our synchro springboards.

9. Entry fee

Entry fee per individual event will be 15,00 € and 20,00 € per synchronized and mixed team. The entry fee has to be paid by bank transfer with final invoice.

10. Accreditation card

Upon arrival of the teams accreditation cards will be handed out. The list of accredited persons is based on the final registration forms. Please send passport photos of all participants with the registration.

11. Awards

Medals will be awarded to the competitors placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each event, all finalists will get a certificate. The winner, second and third place receive prize money. In women’s and men’s springboard-3m, platform diving, synchronized diving and mixed diving.

12. Results

Results will be posted following each event by the competition office near the pool.Live results and live internet video will be available.

14. Competition Program

1m: Preliminary; Final with 12 divers(Finals with 8 divers if there are less than 18 divers in the Preliminary).

3m and Platform: Preliminary; Semifinal with 18 divers, Final with 12 divers (Semifinal with 12 divers and Finals with 8 divers if there are less than 18 divers in the Preliminary).

Synchronized Diving and Mixed: Preliminary; Final with 6 teams.

Two divers per FED/Club (not part of the German Swimming Federation)

might advance to the Semifinal and Final if qualified according to the rules.

15. Judges

Judges from guest FEDs have to be certified by LEN or FINA.

16. Technical Meeting

The technical meeting will be heldl on 13rd February 2018 at 4:00 PM in the event office at the pool.
