What do I need to bring?

• Study Materials- Separate materials for Team A, Team B

• Snacks

• Lunch- Provided by the team (Pizza and Soft Drinks

• Non-Graphing Calculator (Bring your Graphing Calculator too.)

• UGA – Bring your running shoes, be prepared to MOVE!!

At the competition

• Carry materials with you that are needed for back to back events.

• If you have several back to back events, you may want to carry a snack with you.

• Carry goggles with you, even if you don’t need them.

• Are you ready to compete?

You are the pride of Brookwood High School.• Be respectful of all event

supervisors.

• During events members on different teams must act as if they are from different schools.

• Have fun at the awards ceremony, but be respectful of the other schools.

In the event of a problem

• Let the event supervisor know immediately, but don’t argue with the event supervisor.

• Let one of the coaches know as soon as the event is over.

Cell Phones

• Must be on silent during events.

• Cox’s cell number 770-617-5931, Diaz’s Cell 770-845-3912 Miller’s Cell 770 335-8685. Program it now!

• If there is a problem, call as soon as you leave the event

• Texting- Identify yourself and location.

Safety

• No open toed shoes.• No Shorts/short skirts. Legs must

be fully covered.• In required events

– Wear goggles- we will have enough for every student.

– Lab aprons– Long Sleeves for Chem Lab and

Forensics

Impound events

• Make sure everything, including all tools are impounded.– Air Trajectory– Electric Vehicle– Its About Time– Protein Modeling– Wind Power

Materials

• Get your materials together today. Make sure two different teams are not planning to use the same resources.

• We will not be coming in the building the morning of competition day

• Designated Area in Mr. Cox’s room.

Leaving Time

• Meet in front of the school at 6:20AM.

• We want to leave the grounds at 6:30. We WILL leave you, if you are not here.

• READ the rules. - AGAIN!!!!– What type of calculator is allowed or is

it allowed at all?– Can you bring resources/what is the

restriction?– Can you bring any other

tools/materials?

• Make sure all devices are clearly Labeled Brookwood A, B or C

• You must work to take advantage of it.

• We are not entitled; However we finish this year, it will be the position we have earned!
