WHY SKILLING >> • With all the new recruiting technology in
the marketplace, there is a significant – and still widening –gap between the capabilities of legacy Education systems and many of the new technologies being introduced to the recruiting world.
• Many Educational departments are beholden to the past, whether they like it or not. Once they found a system that worked reasonably well, they stuck with it. Well, now that those systems are a decade or more older, any new technology that comes into the fold must be compatible.
• The problem is, existing Educational Institutes aren’t doing enough to upgrade their Education system/Skill Development/Job placement.
• Many Educational Institutes in India and Graduates would likely love to upgrade and add new skill and technology required in Today's Industries, but are unable to for these reasons.

FOCUS ON ASPIRATION NOT QUALIFICATION ALONE >> The team has evaluated numerous field reports and research findings in the area of skill building over the past few years and found a common thread that has helped us build a concept on which the entire training is designed. We have found that most young persons, whether from rural or urban spaces, or those who have had to discontinue their education for some reason are not likely to go back to an academic system of training. Also there is not a vast difference between the aspirations of the educated and less educated youth. We believe that Skill education, to be successful, must focus on delivering to the aspirations of the trainees rather than the qualification that s/he may or may not have. FOCUS ON METHOOOLOGY AND NOT CONTENT ALONE >> We also behave that Skill education, to be successful, must follow a market driven methodology which churns out trainees that are not just academically trained but are in a position to deliver the services required of them in the marketplace, farmstead and on the shop floor. A training institute which delivers world class content to its students but does not allow for enough laboratory time or apprentice work is unlikely to turn out people who are accepted by the employer. TRAIN FOR LIFELONG EMPLOYABILITY NOT ONE TIME EMPLOYMENT >> Skill education must cater to the lifelong training needs of its alumni in a fast changing work scenario. It is important for any skilled worker to be able to continuously upgrade him/herself by referring to their alma mater at any time of their working lives. It is also important to build such an understanding arid consequently the expectation into the minds of the trainees. This can be best achieved through an advanced system of tracking and continuous mentoring of the trained students. It helps to not only keep the trainee up to date with the developments, but provides the employer with an easily accessible and trustworthy database of the best-skilled persons. FOCUS ON HOLISTIC SKILL BUILDING NOT TECHNICAL SKILLS ALONE >> Dhanvee Education Foundation will provide for a holistic approach to human development rather than focus on imparting only a narrow band of technical skills required to carry out a particular activity. This is achieved by taking the prospective trainee through a process of assessment, aptitude tests and counseling before interfacing him/her with the actual process of training. It allows the Dhanvee Education Foundation research and counseling team to correctly guide a person for success from the very start. The training at Dhanvee Education Foundation ends with assured apprenticeship [except in the case of self employed persons] and the certification is only handed after completion. In other words Dhanvee Education Foundation will certify the acceptance of the person by the employer rather than certifying its own training. This provides an automatic check for the trainer and the trainee for delivering the best to the market. FOCUS ON DIGNITY OF LABOUR NOT EDUCATIONAL OR SOCIAL PROFILE >> We believe that Skill education, to be successful, needs to address the question of dignity right in the beginning. We have found that having very high aspirations is mostly detrimental to making the right skill fit for ones self. Dhanvee Education Foundation counseling is designed to take the prospective student through a level of introspection as well as a very high level of exposure to the need, earning capacity and social fit of each of the courses. We have encountered great success in making students understand the value of learning trade skills and becoming useful and respectable members of society.
