Since
2000, more than 30,000 new jobs have been created by companies expanding or relocating in
our area. According to JCCI’s 2006 study on Attracting and Retaining Talent, job growth is
directly related to our ability to attract new business to the area. The community is often
nationally ranked as a great city for relocating or starting a company based on the low cost of
doing business locally.
