INTIA ARCHITECTURAL MODEL BUILDERS PHASE 1 – PART 2 SITE DEVELOPMENT AND CIVIL WORKS Mr. Luis Intia and his staff working to complete the model with the assistance of Arch Duke Sage. The project was completed October 17 and was turned over to DLSZ last October 18, 2016. The model was further improved during the semestral break free of charge. Senior High School and The Spark Buildings Teodoro Construction Corporation will continue to work on Phase 1 Part 2 of the project which includes: a. Site development internal road networks, drainage, sewer, cistern b. Guard Houses (3) guard houses, waiting area and parking spaces c. Engineering Center 2- storey building d. Perimeter Fence front and rear e. Plumbing and Electrical works BNProjekTechnik, the DLSZ designated Construction Management Team headed by Engr. Randy Balaoro assigned 7- operating engineering staff to closely monitor the progress of the project. Three (3) of them are currently living on-site, Engr. Lennon Jake Baybay (Site development/ Civil works), Engr. Edd Rivera (Architectural, Structural and Plumbingl), Engr. Alfredo Estrabo (Electrical). With the project now operating 24-hours a day, these engineers monitor the contruction works to meet the target deadline. Luis Intia’s staff improving the model at DLSZ School President’s lobby. OWNER SUPPLIED MATERIALS’ PROCUREMENT MONTH October was a busy month preparing all the required documents for the procurement of supplies for the two buildings. The Vermosa Construction Team opted to prepare a separate list of owner-supplied materials to further reduce construction cost. Some of these items are as follows: a. Air-conditioning units b. Elevators c. Bathroom fixtures d. Lockers e. Lighting materials f. Plants and garden accessories g. Cafeteria equipment h. Floor, wall and base tiles The screening of providers, inspection of their products, the evaluation of quotation proposals and selection of the suppliers were finalized in coordination with Purchasing and Finance Departments. The team is currently coordinating with other La Salle schools for assistance on importation process, provision of lists of accredited suppliers, references for construction safety and security standards and consultation meetings for budget management. In addition, The Sage Group Asia also commissioned the regular attendance of Engr. Site Development Progress

Application Status: July 2016: The school filed for a temporary and permanent connection in coordination with Teodoro Construction Corporation. August 2016: Representatives from MERALCO conducted site inspection to identify location for transformers and tapping points. September 2016: The Agreement for the Sale of Electric Energy, the Agreement for Extension of Lines and/or Additional Facilities and the Terms and Conditions of Service were reviewed and signed by the school. October 2016: DLSZ facilitated the meeting among Ayala Land Inc., Teodoro Construction Corporation and MERALCO representatives to review the Distribution Connection Design.
