Issue No 4 Term 1 Week 4 21 February 2020
It was a fantastic evening on Tuesday for the Meet & Greet, with so many families able to attend the welcome BBQ. I enjoyed being able
to meet many parents and caregivers. Lots of students enjoyed introducing their parents to their teachers and I know many useful and informative conversations were had over the
event. Many thanks to all the teachers who stayed back and to Miss Quick who organised such a successful evening.
During the week we had a false alarm when one of the systems tripped during a play break. I am pleased to report that the students calmly and efficiently moved themselves to the
appropriate areas in a sensible fashion.
Today we held a planned evacuation drill as part of our regular Health and Safety plan.
Congratulations everyone on the manner in which you conducted yourselves.
So far this year we have had outstanding
attendance across the board, with all grades achieving attendance percentages upwards of 90%. I have also been impressed by the way students have been at school on time and ready to learn. Keep it up Anna Bay!

Meet & Greet BBQ
Thank you to the many families who were able
to attend the Meet & Greet on Tuesday night.
It was a great opportunity to meet your child’s
teacher in an informal situation. If you were
unable to make it on the night or you have
further things to discuss with the class teacher,
do not hesitate to arrange a time suitable for
you.
