Garden State Parkway exit 105

As you exit the Parkway there is a traffic light. Turn right at the light on to Hope Road.

At the second traffic light turn left on to Industrial Way.

The first traffic light is Highway 35. Turn right on to Highway 35.

Garden Start Parkway exit 100A for Route 66 East.

After the third traffic light (Allaire Avenue) The Renaissance is about ¼ mile on the right at the

corner of Valley Road. There is a VERY SMALL sign on the Highway. The building is set far back.

If you pass it, go into Wegmans’ parking lot and drive around to the right. There is an exit on to

Valley Road.

From the south:

Garden Start Parkway exit 100A for Route 66 East.

The APHS 1963 Reunion 50 Committee has found that our Reunion 50 happens to be on the same

weekend as the NJ Marathon in Long Branch. Most of the hotels in the area have been booked for the

Marathon for over a year. However, our committee has worked diligently to provide you with three

wonderful choices for your consideration. Below are three choices, which must be booked prior to

April 1st in order to secure your rooms.

We have reserved a ‘block’ of 25 rooms at the Red Roof Inn.

You must give this code when making reservations - B211 Asbury - and reservations must be made

before April 1, 2013. We found that the Red Roof Inn is rated HIGH, clean, pleasant, and comfortable.

Turn right at the first traffic light which is immediately after the exit.

A very short distance you will see a very tall Red Roof Inn sign; turn right on to Center Place.

Diane and I visited this Bed & Breakfast which has an ocean view. It is so quaint and homey and filled

with incredible antique furniture. The Innkeeper, Mary Wiernasz, was exceptionally nice to Diane

when she explained our situation. Mary waived the two-night requirement for us for anyone who is

only staying one night.

Prices: Small room - $100 / Medium room - $133 / Large room – 201 / Suite - $233-$299

Directions: As you travel along Ocean Avenue, Lakeside Avenue is the last street at the north end of

Avon overlooking the Lake between Avon and Bradley Beach.

We were told that the Sea Girt Lodge has availability as it will still be off-season. It is a pretty motel on

the Highway in Sea Girt. The website has a much nicer picture of it.

Pricing is ‘Senior Citizen Rates’: $80.00 for one king size bed and $90 for two double beds.
