PROVIDE MULTIPLE WAYS FOR PEOPLE TO LEARN ABOUT CENSUS 2020 BY:Placing posters or brochures in your organization’s office lobby.
Hosting a series of community gatherings/events to answer your community’s questions and encourage people to respond.
Using social media channels, your organization’s website, and email to remind people about why your organization is committed to a more fair and accurate count.
Using smartphones, take a series of short videos to explain why you are completing the Census Questionnaire and why it’s important for us all to say, “Representation Matters.”
Training your employees and volunteers and asking them to help support your organization when the Census Questionnaire becomes available and encourage clients/community to respond.
Asking people to complete a “pledge card” to complete the Census Questionnaire, so they can receive reminders.
Making a plan to offer “Census Hours” at your office/building to provide people additional support and access to the internet and computer.
