The next leg of your adventure takes you to Damaraland, one of the most

scenic areas in Namibia, a huge, untamed, ruggedly beautiful region that

offers the traveller courageous challenges. Visitors to Damaraland can

view one of its more unusual habitats – the Petrified Forest, which dates

back millions of years and offers a haunting landscape of gigantic

fossilised trees. Your journey culminates in Onguma Game Reserve,

located in the eastern region of Etosha National Park. Enjoy incredible

wildlife viewing, with birders spoilt for choice with over 300 species.

Discover Ethosha National Park, consisting mostly of grassy plains

fringing a huge salt pan hosting a vast array of animals and pink candy-

floss coloured flamingo. This magical itinerary will leave you spellbound

Day 1 - 3

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport you will be

met by an andBeyond representative and driven to Windhoek

Eros Airport. (Approximately 45 minutes)

You will be met at Windhoek Eros Airport for your scheduled Air

charter flight to the Sossusvlei area. The Namib Desert is a

world of vast spaces, endless horizons, dramatic deserts-capes

and jagged mountain heights. (Approximately 1 hour 15

minutes).

Reconnect with yourself and with nature during your 3 night

stay at andBeyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge in a Suite with

ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes accommodation, three

meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and

beers, teas and coffees, refreshments on scenic nature drives,

laundry, fatbiking, safari activities, guided nature walks and

quad bike excursions in the NamibRand Nature reserve (subject

to availability), stargazing with astronomer, emergency

medical evacuation insurance, VAT, transfers to and from the

lodge airstrip and 1 excursion to Sossusvlei.

oldest desert, witness a spectacular hot air balloon inflation,

and set out on the flight of a lifetime.From the best platform,

in the most romantic way, soar with the winds for an hour, over

and lights. Your destination The Sossusvlei dunes or the

splendour of the desert. At landing, you come back to earth

with an Out Of Africa style Champagne breakfast set up in the

middle of nowhere. Your pilot will present you with a flight

certificate before you take a leisurely nature drive back to the

pick-up point. It is an experience like no other, the experience

in time for your scheduled charter flight to Swakopmund

Airport. This charming little seaside town on Namibia's western

and picturesque buildings down to the typical German

restaurants and pubs.

Upon arrival at Swakopmund Airport you will be met by an

andBeyond representative and driven with fellow guests to

Strand Hotel Swakopmund. (Approximately 20 minutes).

Swakopmund is a charming little seaside town on Namibia's

You will be collected from Strand Hotel Swakopmund and driven

with fellow guests to Swakopmund Airport, in time to meet your

departure arrangements. (Approximately 20 minutes).

You will be met at Swakopmund Airport for your scheduled

charter flight to Doro Nawas Airstrip then connect to

Damaraland Camp Airstrip.

Experience your 2 night stay at Damaraland Camp in a Tent with

ensuite bathroom. Your stay include all meals, twice daily

scheduled camp activities, park fees, laundry, Namibian VAT &

tourism levy and local drinks (excludes premium imported

brands and champagne)

Twyfelfontein, Namibia

Set in the Huab River valley, Damaraland Camp boasts

sensational views of the surrounding desert plains, ancient

valley and the soaring peaks of the Brandberg Mountains. Ten

adobe-style thatch units are raised on individual wooden decks,

park of which extends out to form a large viewing platform with

magnificent vistas. Each tent features an en suite shower, a

walk-in dressing area and built-in fan.

The spacious thatch living area houses a restaurant and bar,

complete with roaring fireplace. A sparkling swimming pool lies

invitingly next to the bar. Adventures from the camp include

guided nature drives, walks and mountain biking expeditions.

When the weather is fine, enjoy a meal prepared on

an open fire and served out in the open to the light of

a dozen flickering lanterns.

Day 8 - 9

You will be transferred to Damaraland Camp Airstrip in time for

your scheduled charter flight to Onguma.

Delight in your 2 night stay at Onguma - The Fort in a Bush Suite

with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals, afternoon

tea, beverages - bar, mini bar (beers, local spirits, soft drinks,

water, house wines), two activities per day - Sundowner drive

on Onguma Reserve and Etosha AM Game Drive, transfer from

and to the Onguma & Mokuti Airstrip, Social Development levy

and NTB tourism levy.

Onguma The Fort


A beautiful fort with sumptuous suites warmly welcomes guests

to Onguma – The Fort. Each suite includes a spacious bedroom

and dressing area with airconditioning, and an ensuite

bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. Connected to the

suites are wooden decks leading to the outdoor seating area,

with loungers and magnificent views. The Fort Sultan Suite

boasts a huge ensuite room, cosy sitting area and private

viewing deck.

Mouth-watering meals can be savoured al fresco in the dining

area, on the viewing deck, around the lantern-lit pool or in the

courtyard around a fountain. While away the hours with a good

book in the library or unwind in the sitting room, which boasts

excellent views of a nearby waterhole. A well-stocked boutique

store adds to guest delight.

- Daily flight from Eros Airport in summer estimated departure is at 14h30, Check in at 14h00. Departure and Arrival

times from Eros Airport are fixed, but Scenic Air may change the sequence of lodges around as per passenger

bookings

- The Sossusvlei Taxi Departs in the morning, returning in the afternoon.

The Etosha Taxi Departs in the morning, returning in the afternoon. It is not advisable that guests flying from Eros to

Ongava/Onguma, arriving after 08h00 at Hosea Kutako and needing to be transferred to Eros, be booked on this

service.

It is advisable that guests flying from Ongava / Onguma to Windhoek Int’l do not connect onto International flights

departing earlier than 17h15.
