small projects. For just $30.00 you will get 13 color
patterns and 13 recipes. I’ll make the recipe for you
to try each month at Demo & Dessert. We’ll have
kits for you to purchase for each pattern. If you
can’t make it to Demo & Dessert, you can pick up
your pattern any time after.
Our BOM “Moonlight Sonata” is a show stopper. I
know you’ll love this quilt. Sign up anytime and the
kits will be ready in early February. I have been
stitching away on the new Hoopsister BOM “Sewn
Seeds”. I will have some of the months on display
when we open. Check out page 5 for all the details.
We have updated some programs, so be sure to read
through the monthly gathering page. March is
National Quilting Month . Our class schedule is in
the works so watch your emails………
Many of you enjoy sewing for charities. I just
wanted to remind you that we are a drop off spot for
Project Linus, Quilts of Valor, and pillowcases for
the YWCA.
I look forward to showing off our new shop. Until
then……Happy Sewing!
As I write this column I am so excited because we
are only two days away from loading the moving
trucks. This has been quite a process that began in
May when our landlord sold the building. The new
landlord approached me about finding a new
location, as he wanted to move his business into the
space. I agreed to end my lease 1 ½ years early and
now it’s finally time to begin our new journey.
I have been very excited to hear how thrilled
everyone is with our location choice. There are so
many positives to this area. I hope we will see many
friends when we open Thursday, January 22 at 10:00
AM. We will have an official Grand Opening Sale
February 13 & 14. Page 3 has some of the details,
but more will follow in future emails.
There are still some spots left for the Sip N’ Sew Tea
Party. Anna will share with us embroidery
techniques and sewing techniques. This is a great
way to learn hands on without having to bring your
own machine. We will provide machines, supplies,
food, and fun. Anna will also be doing some things
with the Brother Scan N’ Cut. I hope you can fit this
fun event into your schedule.
