I responded to letters and emails from customers and contacted customers via the telephone when necessary. I was the manager of the “Nuisance Calls” team. This was a highly specialised team that dealt with the prevention of harassment to customers. I organised my team & prioritised tasks, in addition to liaising with Head Office, coordinating of work, compiling reports and motivating my team. This post required excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in order to maintain the standards of the company.

EYFS is a complete methodology that guides a child’s learning before they reach the overt, classroom style stage of their learning. I was tasked with guiding the learning of kindergarten students aged 2–5 within the EYFS framework.

I encouraged these students to interact with others as well as aiding their understanding of the curriculum and ensuring that their attention remained on the task in hand. My job role also extended into general Classroom Assistant roles. Both schools draw from culturally diverse and economically deprived catchment areas, giving me a greater understanding of different cultures, ethnicities and socio-economic groups.

Volunteer Peer Mentor – Middlesbrough F.C. (Middlesbrough) - January 2008 - December 2009I completed over 100 hours of volunteering at the Riverside stadium as part of the Playing for Success scheme. Playing for Success was a partnership between the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), local authorities and a broad range of sports. The centre was a vibrant, exciting and stimulating place for young people to learn. I assisted the students in their projects and offered support and encouragement to them to ensure a positive learning environment. I used many different types of media in the role; such as iMacs, video cameras, editing, radio broadcasting and computer generated imagery.I worked with pupils aged from 6-16, often with children from ethnic minorities who did not have English as their first language.
