Kick Off Banquet

Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the

Worship Center

FAITH Evangelism is all about Christians and churchesengaging their part of the world with the message and the

Savior people so desperately need. Our winter kick-off will

begin with a Banquet featuring David Burton, Director of

Evangelism for the Florida Baptist Convention. There will

be a $5.00 requested donation at the door for the dinner.

Sign up will begin during the services this weekend. You

will need to Pre-Register for Child Care. Please purchasechildcare reservation tickets at the Preschool Rotunda in

the education building during all services. Our new schedule

for the FAITH Semester will be Feb. 7 through March 21, 2010

from 12:10 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the Family Recreation Center.

coordinate/lead many ministries within First Baptist. Thisweek we are highlighting:

Disaster Relief Teams

As the Haitian earthquake tragedy confronts us, wearereminded how important it is for our church to reach outwith the love of Christ to those who suffer from natural

disasters. First Baptist needs a person/couple who canhelp the church step up our level of our involvement-so

we can prepare and serve more effectively in times ofnatural disaster. This champion would likely work with acommittee to establish priorities and make them happen.

The weekly commitment would vary significantly and isexpected to be in the range of five to ten hours. The

champion should be a full-time Naples resident.
