JDRF One Walk, Las Vegas 2018

The JDRF One Walk is the largest fundraising

events for type 1 diabetes in the world. Each

year over 900,000 people participate at close to

200 JDRF One Walk locations in over a dozen

countries. Funds are raised by individual and

team walkers supported by donations from

family, friends, and neighbors. Support is also

raised through corporate sponsorships and

point-of-sale campaigns at local retail outlets.

The JDRF One Walk has raised more than $1

billion through the hard work and generosity of

supporters like you. Every dollar JDRF directs

towards research comes from our donors. So,

the more our walkers raise, the closer we get to

reaching our goal of a world without T1D.

Locally, the JDRF One Walk 2017 on the

campus of UNLV welcomed over 4,000 people

and raised over $450,000.

Silver B Sponsors at the $5000 level have the opportunity to sponsor a variety of areas at the JDRF One Walk

One Walk Team Check In (1 sponsor opportunity available) Approximately 4,000 people attend the JDRF One Walk. One sponsor will have the opportunity to brand the check in area visited by all event participants.

Volunteers / Volunteer Check In (1 sponsor opportunity available)

The JDRF One Walk requires approximately 150 volunteers. The Volunteer sponsor will have their logo on the back of all the volunteer shirts and have branding opportunities at the Volunteer Check In tent area.

Checkpoint (2 sponsor opportunities available)

There are two checkpoints located on the 5K One Walk route. Sponsors of the checkpoints may pass out marketing materials to all walkers who pass the checkpoint during the event. The company may also choose to provide branded food and drinks to event participants as they pass the checkpoint.

Activity Area (1 sponsor opportunity available) The Activity Area is located in the main field area on the day of the walk. It contains a variety of activities designed to add an element of fun through creative methods of incorporating the JDRF brand and mission. It may include an interactive photo booth, an art project for children, temporary tattoos, facepainters and balloon artists, and other fun activities.

V1P Tent (1 sponsor opportunity available) This hospitality tent is exclusive to walkers raising over $1,000. Approximately 100 guests will enjoy this opportunity. One sponsor will have the opportunity to brand this tent area, located on the main field.

First Aid Tent (1 sponsor opportunity available) The first aid tent provides minor emergency medical care to event participants and volunteers during the JDRF One Walk. One sponsor will have the opportunity to brand this tent area, located on the main field.

Team Photo Tent (1 sponsor opportunity available)

JDRF One Walk teams have the opportunity for a complimentary group photo during the event. One sponsor will have the opportunity to brand this tent area, located on the main field.

Parking (1 sponsor opportunity available) Located at the Cottage Grove parking structure, sponsor logo will be on eight A-Frame signs throughout the entrances to the UNLV campus to direct people to the appropriate parking area. Sponsor will also be included in four social media posts between now and the November 3 Walk day.

Route Map (1 sponsor opportunity available)

Sponsor logo on map of Walk route distributed electronically (with hyperlink to sponsor) to all participants, as well as logo placement on 30, 18x24 maps on display throughout the campus.

Walk Day Promotional Giveaway - (e.g. beachballs, soft frisbees, etc) - (1 sponsor opportunity available)

1,500 promotional items given to walk participants to enjoy during the event, branded with a company logo.

Corporate Participation Our organization is also interested in providing event volunteers to staff our sponsored area.
