What People are Saying about the Cancer Support Helpline:
“Thank you so much. Talking to you was really helpful, one of the most clarifying conversations I've had about my situation since I first got the diagnosis so far. I think the job you are doing is very important, I will let everyone I know about your organization. Thanks also so much for the extra time you took to let me voice my concerns…”
“I wasn’t aware how much I needed to talk to someone. I was thinking about stopping treatment because I felt so alone and now I know there is someone I can talk to about how hard this is. I will try and work on the things you suggested. No one has helped me like you…”
“Not sure how we managed before we started actively referring callers to CSH. I realize now there were so many needs I was unable to help callers with and I am grateful that people find it to be so helpful. When I talk with people again they tell me how appreciative they are that I connected them. I feel like I have done such a better job.”
