Krebs wife of Mr Thomas Krebs had passed away For many years Mrs Krebs has been prominent in social circles and church work always having been- an active church member and one who has done much in the way of building up and maintaining a choir and her death will be greatly lament- ed ¬ by many friends and acquaint- ances ¬ She leaves to mourn her loss- a husband a son and a baby girl but 3 weeks Roberts presiding and her remainTwere R followed to + the grave y by many sorrowing friends Whiskey and Beer for StAndrew Stolen We clip the following from the Pen ¬ sacola Journal of the 29th < Five gallons of whiskey and two kegs of beer shipped by a wholesale liquor dealer to a customer at St An- drew were stolen from the freight schooner Cleopatra lying at Baylon street wharf Thursday night When the discovery was made yesterday morning by the captain of the vessel the police made an investigation re ¬ covered some of the whiskey and ono keg of beer and arrested four fisher ¬ men Others are being searched for as it is alleged they were the parties- to board tho schooner and get away with the whiskey and beer The theft was committed some time during the night probably after 11 oclock The captain and members- of the crew were asleep on board One keg of beer and some of the whiskey was recovered aboard a fish- ing ¬ schooner and two men were then arrested One of them is Joe McGin nis who while serving time on a for ¬ mer occasion in the county jail was one of the trio to break jail Two other fishermen were later arrested I Cromanton I Mr Willie Railsback spent the day- in Cromanton last Sunday- It is nearly the Fourth of July and the watermelons are getting to be very plentiful the writer helped cut and eat a fifty pouner last Sunday after ¬ noon- A party consisting of kegs of beer shipped by a wholesaleliquor dealer to a customer at St An-

drew were stolen from the freightschooner Cleopatra lying at Baylonstreet wharf Thursday night Whenthe discovery was made yesterdaymorning by the captain of the vesselthe police made an investigation re¬

covered some of the whiskey and onokeg of beer and arrested four fisher ¬

men Others are being searched foras it is alleged they were the parties-to board tho schooner and get awaywith the whiskey and beer

The theft was committed some timeduring the night probably after 11

oclock The captain and members-of the crew were asleep on board

One keg of beer and some of thewhiskey was recovered aboard a fish-

schooner and two men were thenarrested One of them is Joe McGinnis who while serving time on a for ¬
