With a purpose to establish an IT and Procurement Policy (PP) Division in PBSecretariat, it has been decided with the approval of the Competent Authority that ShriOeepak Joshi, DDG (Tech) shall report to Shri Avinash Agarwal, ADG (IT&Procurement Policy) as an interim arrangement, until further orders to support thefunctioning of the Division. Shri Joshi shall however continue to look after his otherresponsibilities in addition to the work allocated under IT &PP Division.

2. Further, the following officers/officials of the IT Team of AIR will, report to PBSectt for meeting the overall softwarellT requirements of all verticals (AIR, DD includingNews and PB Sectl):

The said team under Shri R K Karn DOG [(IT) SIW] would report to Shri AvinashAgarwal, ADG (IT & PP) and would be responsible for in-house software development,preparing technical specifications for IT initiatives, any other responsibilities assignedfrom time to time. The local data centre of DG:AIR will also be under the administrativecontrol of PS Sectt.
