Police $55,010 per year or $26.45 per hour

that offers an opportunity for students to learn skills and ex‐
plore careers in the field of Criminal Jus ce. Criminal Jus ce
classes provide students with the background knowledge
needed to be successful as they prepare beyond high school to
pursue a Criminal Jus ce degree. The in‐depth content of the
criminal jus ce system provided in these classes will help facil‐
itate the needs for employment in one of the fastest growing
areas today. Occupa ons in this field include police and detec‐
ves, correc onal officers, EMTs (emergency medical techni‐
cian), FBI agents, firefighters, private inves gators, proba on
officers, security officers, and surveillance officers. Criminal
Jus ce provides jobs in all levels of government: local, state,
and federal.
