Their Main responsibility is to create an environment where the cast and crew can flourish. They steer the film from beginning to end and beyond. To be a good Producer you need some of the following: Be good at problem solving Be good at motivating people Have good creative vision Have excellent communication skills Experience in the film Industry We have chosen Adam Teskey to be our Producer for the film opening as he has excellent communication skills, good at motivating people and he also has a good creative vision. These are his strengths but he still has moderate ability with the other skills needed i.e. Problem solving. Some examples of good producers are: George Lucas and Quentin Tarantino. Director Directors are responsible for creatively translating the films written script into actual images and sounds on the screen. Directors may write the films script or commission it to be written, or they may be hired after an early draft of the script is complete. They also manage the technical aspects of filming including the camera, sound, lighting, design and special effects. To be a good Director you need some of the following: Be a strong and confident leader Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Inspire and motivate the team

Producer

We have chosen Adam Teskey to be our Producer for the film opening as he has excellent communication skills, good at motivating people and he also has a good creative vision. Director

As a group we have decided to choose Jade Paul as the Director as she has many strengths and meet all the requirements to be a good Director. Furthermore, she has good experience using cameras and making key decisions. Some examples of good Directors are: Steven Spielberg and James Cameron.

Camera Operator

Camera operators make sure the camera and equipment are prepared for the required set-ups and ready for any last-minute changes. They must be able to multi-task and to watch, listen and think on their feet while carrying out complex technical tasks. The work is physically demanding and requires high levels of strength and stamina. To be a good Camera Operator you need some of the following:

Be patient Have physical co-ordination and strength Communicate effectively Be able to collaborate and work as part of a team Pay precise attention to detail Have a good sense of visual composition, perspective and movement

As a group we have decided to choose Adam Cook as the Camera Operator as he meets a lot of the main key points needed to be a good Camera Operator. His main strengths are: Communicating effectively, being patient and strength and co-ordination.

Boom Operator (Sound)

A Boom Operator is responsible for all the sound equipment ensuring that it is in good working order, and carrying out minor repairs where necessary. Also they operate the boom microphone. To be a good boom operator you need some of the following:

Good memory Listening skills Be patient Physical strength

As a good we have decided to choose Adam Teskey as the boom operator as he meets the key requirements to become a good boom operator.

Editor

An editor is responsible for editing the film recordings and making sure that the film works perfectly and appeals to the audience. To be a good editor you need some of the following:

Be Patient Good with editing Communication skills

We are all doing the editing as each of us have the right aspects to be a good editor also it allows us to communicate with each other and make it perfect.
