• Enabling & Configuring Job Work• Enabling F11 Features• Master Configuration

• Voucher Types• Stock items• Godown

• Recording Job Work Vouchers• Displaying of Job Work Reports


Enabling Job work

• Gateway of Tally>F11 Features>Allow Job Order Processing to Yes.

These options will automatically get enabled

Enable this option


Master Configuration (Voucher Types)

• Gateway of Tally> Accounts Info>Voucher Types>Alter>select Voucher Type

“Use For Job Work In” is the option for Job Workers who receive Raw materials

Enable the option to transfer the raw materials to job

worker

Enable “Use for Job Work” to receive the finished

goods from Job Worker

Enable Allow Consumption option to consume raw

materials proportionate to finished goods received


Master Configuration (Stock Item)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory Info>Stock Items>CreateEnable BoM

Create a list of BoM’s

Specify the components and scrap details


Master Configuration (Godown)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory Info>Godown>CreateEnable this option to track the stocks which are

in Job Worker godown


Job Work Vouchers

• Gateway of Tally>Order vouchers>Alt + J

Select the Job Worker in the Party

field Mention the Duration of Process and Nature of

Processing to be done in supplementary details

Select the finished product which has to be

processed by the Job Worker

Enable this option to track components that are used to manufacture finished

productSpecify the quantities to

be processed by Job worker

Select the BoM to fill the components

automatically

Based on component type defined in BoM, Track will be captured.Pending Issue=Components

Pending Receive= Scrap \ By-Products \ Co-Products


Job Work Vouchers (Purchase of Raw Materials)

• Gateway of Tally>Accounting Vouchers>F9

Pass a Purchase voucher to procure raw materials


Job Work Vouchers (Material Out)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory Vouchers>Ctrl + J

Select the Job Worker ledger from the list

Track the order

Select the Job worker godown as goods are

being sent for Job Work

On tracking the order only the components will get selected which are to be

issued to Job Worker


Job Work Vouchers (Material In)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory vouchers>Ctrl + W

Select Job Worker ledger from whom the

finished goods are being received

Track the same order to complete

the cycle

Select the godown from which the processed

goods are being received

On tracking the order, primary finished item as well as the scrap will be

brought in to the voucher

Enable relevant option based on

the nature of item

Mention the value for the

scrap received

Option will be by default enabled, to consume the raw

materials in Job worker godown


Job Work Reports(Stock Summary)

• Gateway of Tally>Stock Summary.


Job Work Reports (Material Movement Register)

• Gateway of Tally>Display> Job Work Out Reports>Job Work Register

• Gateway of Tally>Display> Job Work Out Reports>Job Work Analysis>Receipt Variance

Displays the difference between order Quantities and

Material In quantities (Finished Goods received from Job

Worker).

• Configuring Job Work• Master Configuration

• Voucher Types

Master Configuration (Voucher Types)

• Gateway of Tally> Accounts Info>Voucher Types>Alter>select Voucher Type

Enable these options to use voucher type for

receiving raw materials from Principal company

Enable these options to use voucher type for

transferring finished goods to Principal

company

Create a Manufacturing Journal under Stock

Journal

Enable this option to use the voucher as

Manufacturing Journal


Master Configuration (Godown)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory Info>Godown>CreateEnable this option to track the stocks of

Principal company which is with Job Worker


Job Work Vouchers (Job Work In Order)

• Gateway of Tally>Order vouchers>Alt + W

Select the party ledger from whom the raw materials are being

received

Mention the Duration of Process and Nature of Processing to be done

using the raw materialsSelect the finished good for which the

order has been receivedEnable the option to Track Components that are used to manufacture finished

goodsSpecify the Quantity

that needs to be manufactured

Select the BoM from which the components

has to be filled

Based on the component type

defined in BoM the Track will be captured


Job Work Vouchers (Material In)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory vouchers>Ctrl + WSelect the party ledger

from whom the goods are being received

Track the Job Order In

Select Not Applicable for godown as there is no source godown for

the goods received

Only Raw Materials will be brought in to

the voucher on tracking the order


Job Work Vouchers (Manufacturing Journal)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory vouchers> Alt + F7Select the finished

good to be produced

Select the BoM from the list to capture the

components automatically


Job Work Vouchers (Material Out)

• Gateway of Tally>Inventory vouchers> Ctrl + J

Select the Principal company

ledger

Track the order to complete the cycle


Job Work Reports(Stock Summary)

• Gateway of Tally>Stock Summary.

Stock Summary in case of Job Worker is blank, as the inventory is allocated to

Principal company godown.


Job Work Reports (Material Movement Register)

• Gateway of Tally>Display> Job Work In Reports>Job Work Register
