The initiation and process of defrosting is controlled by micro processor to ensure effective heating conditions.

Once the sleep mode is , the temperature is automatically activatedadjusted and controlled. During refrigeration process, the preset temperature will rise by 1 degree C for two hours of continuous running. During heating process, the preset temperature will drop by 3 degrees C for 3 hours of continuous

HEALTHY IONSThe air in air conditioned environments is usually characterized by excess positive ions, which could lead to nausea, headaches etc. Holtstar air conditioners have inbuilt super quality brush-type ion generators, which neutralizes this condition by means of ionization. The ion generators produce large quantities of anions to neutralize the positive ions in the air so that the room air is made clean, fresh and full of active oxygen suitable for human consumption.

HIGH EFFICIENT REFRIGERATIONThe use of high efficient, energy saving, and low noise rotary compressors produced to world class standards by Mitsubishi and Toshiba, has been adopted in Holtstar air conditioners.

MULTI FOLDS EVAPORATORThis evaporator is composed of durable and high conductivity internally-threaded copper pipes, sandwiched in hydrophilic aluminum fins for improved heat exchange. The four five fold/faced evaporating surface allows for a compact design, yet greater heat exchange surface area and thus greater cooling efficiency. It also eliminates the air flow noises emanating from the cross flow fan wheels.

ENHANCED AIR DELIVERY AND NOISE REDUCTIONA number of unique design considerations accounts for the extra quiet operation and enhanced air delivery of the holtstar air conditioner, both in the indoor and the outdoor units. The saw-teeth design of the fan blades (in the latest model) greatly reduces the vibration noises at the end of the vortex, and the operating noises of the outdoor unit.

Noise reduction is further enhanced by the large diameter centrifugal fans design, which allows for increased air intake at relatively lower operating speeds. Again, the unique air duct design enhances larger air delivery volume at lower operating noise levels. The low noise rotary compressors of the outdoor units contributes immensely to the achievement of quiet operation.

COLD CATALYST TECHNOLOGYThe cold catalyst serves to sterilize and remove unpleasant odors. It can completely degrade the methyl oxide in the room air that might cause cancer disease. It will also effectively remove the odd odors like those of methyl hydrosulfate, ethyl mercaptan, etc. Compared to the optical catalyst, the cold catalyst has the advantage of recycled use without going through regeneration process.

INTERNAL THREADED COPPER PIPESThese internally threaded pipes raise the heat exchange efficiency by 30-50% than in the ordinary copper pipes, as the refrigerant flows faster and more forcibly inside the copper pipes, thereby reducing the energy consumption.

THREE DIRECTIONAL SWINGING PATTERN AIR DELIVERY TECHNOLOGYThere are air delivery direction and air swinging buttons on the remote controller, by which the fixed directional air delivery can be realized. A three dimensional air delivery pattern can be selected using this medium to suit the convenience of the user.

Air direction is facilitated in the evaporator through the combined action of the vertical sweep/guide vanes, the dual horizontal sweep flaps and of course the blower wheel which produces the upward thrust.
