- 1. Ginger Shrimp My Way. Step by Step Demonstration By John Rozmeski
- 2. Step 1:Ingredients
- Head to your favorite local market.
- What you will need
- 3. Shrimp & Ginger
- Any type of Shrimp will work fine
- 4. Cilantro, Green Onions and Garlic
- The amounts will very on personal preference.
- 5. Oyster Sauce & Soy Sauce
- The brand and amount will be personal preference.
- 6. Water, Flour (or Cornstarch) & Oil
- Cornstarch and and oil type are personal preference.

- Red Pepper , Black Pepper or Salt & Sugar
- 8. Step 2:Wash Your Hands
- 9. Step 3:Clean and Wash Shrimp
- Shell on or Shell off?
- 10. Step 4: Peel and Dice Ginger
- 11. Step 5: Repeat step 4
- Dice garlic
- 12. Step 6: Add Garlic and Ginger into a Blender
- Amounts will very but you don t want to add to much garlic and take away from Ginger. You can also use a grader for Ginger.
- 13. Step 7:Wash Cilantro and Green Onions
- 14. Step 8: Dice Cilantro
- Put to the side you will add to dish later
- Amounts will very
- 15. Step 8: Add water to flour
- Whisk until it forms a paste and set to the side
- 16. Step 9: Pre Heat Pan or Wok
- At this time add 2 table spoons of oil and wait for pan to get hot
- 17. Step 10: Add Ginger and Garlic to pan
- Let ginger and garlic cook for a one minute, do not allow to burn
- 18. Step 11: Add Shrimp
- Allow to turnColor Slightly
- 19. Step 11: Add Oyster Sauce and Soy Sauce
- 20. Step 12: Add Water and Cover
- Add a little water 2 tablespoons and allow to cook covered for 1-2 minutes, and reduce heat to med.
- 21. Step 13: Add Cilantro and Green Onions
- I use a lot more Cilantro about a 80 to 20 ratio.
- 22. Step 14: Cover
- Cook covered for another - 1 minute
- Cooking time may vary.
- 23. Step 15: Uncover and add optional ingredients & flour
mix
- Red pepper, black pepper, salt.
- I like to a 2 teaspoons of sugar
- Add flour mixture to thicken
- 24. Step 16: Finished Product

- Add left over Cilantro for garnishing
