    This individual will be joining the team that performs advanced development of Controls, BuildingAutomation System and Smart Building products used by our customers to run their buildings andmanage their energy costs. Work as part of a team under the close direction of experienced engineers toapply and enhance your engineering development skills to develop applications, products and tools.

    As a member of the Advanced Development Implementation team for Building Efficiency group, thecandidate will assist the engineers in the developing, testing and supporting of control related products forthe Building Efficiency business. This individual must be an analytical thinker and must be disciplined inapplying robust design methodologies and engineering principles (modeling, simulation, statistics, dataacquisition etc.) to develop and realize solutions. This individual must be self-motivated and able to workindependently but must also be able to interface directly with electronics engineers, mechanical engineers,software developers, systems engineers and research engineers to develop system wide solutions.

    Qualifications

    BS or MS in Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Computer Eng, Chemical Eng or similar discipline isrequiredMinimum of 2 years experienceExperience in design, development and test is requiredA background in feedback control theory, thermodynamics and heat transfer, software design and

  • development and embedded systems is requiredDemonstrate an ability to learn quickly and independently is requiredExperience with Matlab and/or Simulink is requiredThe ability to understand analytic methods to realize solutions is requiredThe ability to utilize robust development and test methodologies is requiredDemonstrated problem solving skills is required
