Notification of placement will be made as soon as the district determines K-5 enrollment and the number of classes available in each elementary building.
Children must be four years old by September 15, 2016. Registration forms will be available online and at the ARC as of January 13. There is a $60 one-time non-refundable fee required upon initial registration. The Iowa Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program covers the tuition cost.

Johnston Community Education Winter 2015-16
New Registration System: Fee PayJohnston Community Education is excited to announce a new online registration system for our programs. Starting February 1, 2016 JCE will use Fee Pay for all of its registrations.
Fee Pay will continue to allow us convenient online registration and secure online payments. Everyone will need to create a new account in Fee Pay, which can be done at any time by going to https://johnston.ce.feepay.com. Classes offered with a start date before February 15, 2016 need to register through our current ActiveNet system. You can do so at apm.activecommunities.com/johnston. This includes all classes whose codes are comprised of only numbers.
Classes with a start date after February 15, 2016 will register through our new Fee Pay system. This includes all classes whose codes start with a letter, such as W16 or SP16. Fee Pay registration becomes available on February 1, 2016. If you already have an account set up for KTC, you do not need to create a new account. You will use the same account to register for JCE programs and KTC.
After February 2016, Fee Pay will be used as the primary online registration for all Community Education activities, including youth and adult classes, KTC, SAS, Preschool, and aquatics.
When signing up for classes that may be time sensitive or fill up quickly, be sure to set up your Fee Pay account in advance since this can take time. Call JCE at 515-278-0552 with any questions or if you need help setting up your Fee Pay account.
