Chesterbrook Academy’s Preschool Summer Camp offers fun-filled summer programs for children ages 3-5 who have not completed kindergarten.

Our dedicated staff will help your child embark on new adventures with fun and imaginative weekly themes that make learning an unforgettable experience!

Each week, campers will participate in many indoor and outdoor activities that include active games, nature and science activities, creative arts, group events, and even visits from special guests!

CBA-North Raleigh has a unique campus where your child can enjoy a well rounded summer camp experience full of excitement. Children will visit the playground area, nature trail, field and on-site pool every week!

Early education is a priority all year long at Chesterbrook Academy. Throughout the summer, our Links to Learning Curriculum® provides a powerful connection to a lifetime of learning, as it is designed to review and strengthen skills taught by our experienced teachers during the school year.

Various academic activities will be integrated throughout your child’s daily summer experience in conjunction with a fun, playful camp program that will inspire your child’s mind to engage, explore, create and stay active this summer!

Core Camp Hours Monday through Friday 8:30am—4:30pm

Extended Care (included!) 7:00am — 8:30am ; 4:30pm—6:00pm

Welcome to Preschool Summer Camp


CBA Swim Lessons at our On-Site Pool Optional Camp Swim Lessons offer our campers a “cool” way to learn and stay fit this summer! With the assistance of friendly, certified instructors, our campers can

feel comfortable in social situations at the pool, learn new skills, and improve swim strokes. Your child will practice safety in our on-site, aquatic environment!

Each 2 week session is Monday-Thursday; 8 lessons. Each lesson is 45 minutes long (about 30-35 minutes in the water.)

Times vary. See CBA Office for more details Cost: $75.00 per 2 week session (8 lessons) Ages: Child must be 3 yrs. old to participate

Pirates and Ocean Adventures

Ahoy mateys! Campers can weigh anchor from land as they explore the waves, wearing their best pirate garb. Go on a scavenger hunt and find buried treasure! Dive into seaside adventures and learn about ocean creatures of the deep.


WEEK 1 : 6/7-6/10 Crazy Kitchen

Chemistry Campers can find out what happens when they put baking soda in vinegar, as we spend a week experimenting with items they can find in their own kitchen. We will create some delicious edibles and some interesting reactions.

WEEK 2: 6/13-6/17 Terrific

World Travelers Get your passport ready! Travel by boat, plane and train to amazing places all over the world. Explore multicultural customs and taste special foods from far-away places. Make colorful crafts, play global games and dress-up in traditional clothing from across the continents.

WEEK 3: 6/20-6/24 Fantastic Tales &

Super Stories Dress-up like a Super Hero and discover the power to have fun with friends! Create a fantastic fairy tale or make puppet characters from a comic book. Design a super shield and get immersed in a storyteller’s tale!

WEEK 11: 8/15-8/19 Wacky World

of Sports Campers won’t want to

miss our spin on sports week. Get familiar

with new games and cool sports. Run the gauntlet

at a giant inflatable obstacle course! Get

excited about exercise and find out why athletics

are so awesome!

WEEK 4: 6/27-7/1 Cool, Creative

Crafting It’s time to get the creative juices flowing and make awesome camp crafts! Campers will express themselves through new experiences, such as sculpting with paper mache and clay, making creative jewelry, and so much more.

WEEK 5: 7/5-7/8 Sensational

Sounds Preschoolers will explore

their sense of sound as we sing songs and identify

sounds in nature as well as the digital world. We’ll

enjoy a musical theatre performance and put

on our own funky dance parade

while playing some

home-made instruments!

WEEK 7: 7/18-7/22 It’s Hip

to be Healthy

A heathy life is a happy life! Find out why fruits and veggies fuel healthy bodies and how exercise

keeps kids strong! Stretch your muscles with

a Yoga session and discover what bones look

like with real X-Rays.

WEEK 8: 7/25-7/29 Messy Mixtures &

Experiments Messy science

experiences are the best kind! Our campers will be surprised to find out what

goes into homemade play dough, “oobleck,”

3D sand painting and more.

We’ll learn new science

terms and hypothesize all week!

Compete in cool water

relays with pals! Participate in

hands-on learning with fun, liquid science

experiments! Discover how rain is formed in the

atmosphere and about life-cycles in streams and ponds. Make waves and cool off in the pool, too!

WEEK 9: 8/1-8/5 Budding Builders

Preschoolers become architects and designers

by making models of bridges, building towers,

constructing marble mazes, and creating lego

cities. The possibilities for these Jr.Engineers

are endless!

*Since all camp programs are pre-scheduled, any CHANGES (additions/deletions) to originally selected programs must be made TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE of requested change.

*All requests FOR CANCELLATIONS made after this deadline will not be accomodated and payment will be required. Email the Office to make any Additions or Cancellations to your schedule.
