Finding Periodicals Available to FSU

Journals A-Z

To find whether FSU has access to a journal or other periodical, select Journals A-Z, and then select Online Journals

Browse by Category

To browse journals for various categories, choose by category.

Select the category that interests you.

And then select a subcategory.

Browse by Category

Results will show alphabetical list of titles including: • Date ranges covered. • Any limitations such as embargos. • Link to database or web site with

the journal.

Find Specific Journal

For a specific journal, enter the name (or ISSN) and select find journal.

If found, you should see the name, issn, dates covered, and any limitations. Select the date range to access the journal.

The previous link took us to a ScienceDirect web page. This will be different in each case, because the journal may be available through different databases or web sites. Generally, you should be able to select your volume and issue, and then locate an article. Some databases will allow you to search within the journal.

This journal has an 18-month embargo. Notice that the most recent issue does not provide links to full-text for most articles.

But, if you go back before the 18-month embargo, you should see full-text links for most articles.

To locate a specific article, you may use the Citation Linker found to the right of the Journals A-Z screen.

Enter as much known information about the article as you can. Depending on the amount of information entered, you may be taken directly to your article, or you may need to browse an issue of the journal for the article.
