Monticello Schools #882 Monticello School District was grateful to be a partner in helping to bring the floral mural to the corner of 75 and 25 in Monticello! Thanks to a grant from the Central Minneso-ta Arts Board, ISD 882 was able to partner with Monticello Arts Initiative and bring in Allison Hunsley to both create this beautiful piece of art for our community, as well as to hold a Saturday workshop (featuring two muralists) for our high school students that are interested in the arts. ISD 882's goals include creating out of the classroom oppor-tunities for students to pursue their passions, as well as continuing to strengthen the sense of community that makes us so proud to be the MONTICELLO School District. This project allowed us to fulfill both of those goals, giving an opportunity to our students and allowing us to give back just a little to the community that we love. Thank you to Monti Arts, CMAB, and especially to Allison Hunsley for her incredible work!!
