NEW SISTERS IN CHRIST

Praise the Lord! Jamie & Kallie

Wedlake put on Jesus Christ in the

waters of baptism Sunday, August

25th. They had been studying with

one of our Church members over the

last several months along with other

brothers and sisters in Christ who

have had a huge influence upon

them. It was a blessing to see a daughter and mother

make the same decision. We are so happy for John

and Kinley.

NEW BROTHER The Angels in Heaven are rejoic-

ing! Seth Swaim put on Jesus

Christ in baptism Thursday, Au-

gust 22nd. Seth had been study-

ing with one of our members here

in the Stillwater family for the

last three month. Seth is the son

of Greg & Paula Swaim, the

brother of Cale along with his brother Sean of Enid.

His grandparents are Robert & Charlene Swaim.

Praise the Lord!

NEW MEMBERS Let’s welcome Martin Kirk into the

family God. Martin was baptized a

number of years ago at the Tipton

working due to some health issues.

Welcome home Martin.

We are happy to welcome Randy

& Kaye Lenaburg to the Stillwa-

ter family. The Lenaburgs come

to us from Blackwell, OK. They

were active members of the

Blackwell Church of Christ for

over 40 years and Randy served

as a Deacon. Kaye worked as a

representative and counselor for

the area Career Tech Center. Randy worked at the Co

MISSION REPORT Over this past summer the Stillwater congregation has sent 28 individuals to nine countries on four continents and Williamsburg, Virginia. To achieve this, the mission committee doubled the budgeted expenses for summer mission work. We are nearing our budget goal of $100,000 and prayerfully ask the con-gregation to help us meet our budget. We are working on the 2019-2020 budget and have desires to expand the International work locally and support more overseas work next year. On September 7th, there is a Friend’s Speak program to assist us in learning to read with internationals. This program is not just for potential readers but anyone who can assist readers in meeting with internation-als. The program starts at 8:30 am with breakfast and lasts until noon and will be held in the fellowship hall. Please keep the mission committee in your pray-ers as they work on next year’s budget. Pray that the Lord will be glorified by our efforts to reach people with the gospel. Also keep our ongoing mission works in Germany, India, Kenya, and Zambia in your prayers. Specifically, remember the upcoming September wedding for Kye and Lydia.
